Why do we need Web Awards?
[ A Word from EWW Online ] There are thousands of websites in this cyber space providing different user based services and state of the art content. But where are they? A official survey indicates that 87% of the Internet users are unaware of such websites!? And why do you ask?, then it's because they don't exist in the top charts or fail to make a financial difference from other million websites. So now here's Education World Wide Online, stepping ahead to give official recognition to such websites. Our Web awards 2000 are mainly aimed at Educational Websites, specifically in four categories, 1. Regional use, 2. Coverage, 3. Services & 4. Content and Design flexibility. The upcoming Web Awards will classify the popular choice of select Web sites into several categories and then rate them. [ HOME ]

How and who can you NOMINATE your site?
Both web developers and users can NOMINATE their website for the EWW Web Awards 2000. There are no submission charges. The websites submitted will be reviewed by our panel of Judges consisting of Developers of EWW Online, Content Managers and the Officials of VMWD India Pvt. Ltd. The top websites will be featured in this section on the final decision. Eligibility? You are developing a school, college, university website. Or developing edu portals, one stop reference libraries, help sites, communication, media, news, forums & debates, and whatever your wild ideas to go online.. come right in. The awards will be on the following basis: Type of Content Usability and Reference Context of the website User Friendly features and Online interactivity Web design and link accuracy Extra Services and help topics [ More Details ]
The Rules and Regulations? Entries only for Web developers and Users. Personal home pages cannot not be sent as entries. A web site can be sent in multiple categories. Only one entry per category. There is no restriction to the number of entries per entrant. A panel of judges from the net and VMWD India will evaluate the entries. VMWD India reserves the right to make the final decision based on their discretion. Employees, family members and relatives of VMWD India and EWW Online cannot participate in the contest. The entry should be original and genuine. Any controversy over the development rights or found ineligible would lead to disqualification at any stage of the competition. Note: There are no entry fees. The winners will be announced on EWW Online (www.educationworldwide.itgo.com) The winners would be intimated by email and a confirmation of the URL will be required. The final decision is of Education World Wide Online.
